It was close to coming to an end (again!), but Dementia Radio lives on! Long time staff members MGD King and Weymolith have teamed up and taken over! Here is a statement from Bammers:

"Hello everyone,

As life goes on, our priorites always change. When I bought the station from Dave back in 2005, I had every intention of growing it into something bigger, but life threw me some curves. The first one was career related, when I got a position I had been trying to get for years. After several failed attempts to get on board, I had no real reason to think I'd be selected when I bought DementiaRadio. But I did get the job just a few weeks after I took over, and while I am very happy with the career move I made, I'm now working odd shifts and long hours and haven't had as much time to invest in the station as it deserves.

The second curve is financial. With the new job, I'm finally making decent enough money to be able to buy a house, so I did. It is a very happy time for me and my wife, but money is going to be tight and it is my first home, so I cannot allow anything to jeopordize my ability to keep it.

So, effective immediately, MGD KIng and Weymolith are the owners of DementiaRadio. I have complete faith in their ability to take the station to the level of its potential, and I wish them both the best of luck in their endeavors. I am very happy that things turned out as they did, because it was literally breaking my heart to think about having to shut it down. With MGD King's godliness in all things web-related, and Weymo's connections in the music biz, I see nothing but great things on the horizon for DementiaRadio.

I will be staying on board in some limited capacity, and fully intend on doing shows, and hopefully realizing my initial goal of putting together a NoCal local artist show.

Please welcome MGD King and Weymo as the new owners of DementiaRadio.

Bammers will remain a member of the Dementia Staff as long as he wants to be a part of it. His hard work has paved the way for the future of the station. Without what he has done, we wouldn't be where we are now.
